Every massage begins with a consultation so the session can be customized to the client. Clients can choose from Swedish massage, deep tissue work on muscles and connective tissue, neuromuscular therapy using trigger point techniques, myofascial release that stretches the connective tissue between muscles, and prenatal massage set up with specially designed tables, cushions and side-lying positions that keep pressure off the abdomen. Reflexology focuses on pressure points in the feet, and RLD sessions run 60 minutes. The business describes RLD as a ground-breaking, multi-award-winning technique.
Foot health pedicures come in three lengths. A 30-minute version covers toenail clipping, shaping and polish change. A 60-minute version adds sugar exfoliation, a foot and leg massage and toenail buffing or polish. A 90-minute deluxe version combines the full pedicure with a 30-minute reflexology session. Gel polish is an extra $15, and these pedicures suit both men and women and are recommended every four to six weeks.
Policies are stated plainly. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice or the full appointment is charged before the next booking. Missed appointments without notice are treated as no-shows and charged. Late arrivals may have their session shortened, but the full session fee applies. Gift certificates are available and are not refundable, and prepaid services are not refundable either. Clients stay draped throughout, with only the treated area uncovered, and the practitioner steps out while the client undresses.
Sessions are shaped around each client, with the stated aim of helping with health challenges or at least easing stress.
Sessions include soft music, a hot towel and an essential oil chosen for the visit.
