The salon calls itself a teaching salon and spa company, with training for the next generation of service providers as a central goal. A visit usually starts with a consultation. Facials are tailored after that conversation and include a deep cleanse and mask, with massage and extractions added when appropriate. Massage sessions also begin with a consultation, and guests with medical conditions are asked to tell the therapist on arrival. Spa clients can complete an intake and consent form online before their appointment.

Hair services range from designer cuts, where stylists use the Complimentary Body Angle method to choose angles and lengths, to color, balayage and highlights priced with gloss. Hair restructuring is customized for curly, straight, unruly or fine hair. The Alternative Hair Studio offers personal fittings for wigs and toppers. Prices for color and blonding are starting points that depend on stylist level, product amount and time.

Spa offerings include Farmaesthetics-based facials, a range of massage styles, body treatments for softening, firming, hydrating and detoxifying, manicures and pedicures, make-up with Jane Iredale products, waxing and eyelash extensions. Day spa packages can be customized on request through the Spa Director.

The salon says it builds services around each guest and will not recommend a treatment or product a guest does not need. Staff training and a level system for service providers are part of how it operates.
