Head Spa by Mai

Head Spa by Mai operates from a private suite with one bed inside Salon Village on South Dairy Ashford Road in West Houston. Visits are one client at a time, and clients are asked to arrive alone unless they have arranged otherwise in advance.

The menu is built around head spa sessions that run from one hour to two hours, starting at $85. The entry Vietnamese Head Spa covers scalp massage, a deep cleanse, facial massage, a face mask, neck, shoulder and arm massage, a double shampoo and conditioner, and a blow dry. Ultimate Head Spa adds hot stone massage and hair steam, while Premium Head Spa is the longest option at two hours and includes hand paraffin and a foot massage.

Luxury Head Spa is the treatment designed for fine or thinning hair, fragile or aging hair, and problem scalps. It uses the Awaken line, which is vegan, sulfate-free and paraben-free and suits color-treated hair, and it includes a therapeutic treatment step. A separate Relaxing Massage & Facial, at one hour and fifteen minutes, pairs a double cleanse and exfoliation with facial massage, a mask, hand paraffin and a finishing routine of toner, serum, sunscreen and lip care.

Packages suit clients who plan several visits. Three Premium Head Spa sessions are priced at $500 and five Vietnamese Head Spa sessions at $375, both usable over six months. Gift cards are sold through the booking site, including a $50 option.

Reserving a visit means paying a deposit of 20% when the booking is made, and that deposit cannot be returned. Cancellations are not accepted. If a client turns up late, the salon may decide to shorten the appointment or move it to another time. The balance is payable when the service takes place, and the payment methods the salon accepts can differ. Clients are asked to tell staff about any allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions before the appointment. No refund is given once a service has been carried out, and the salon does not guarantee specific results.

Hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The business presents each visit as a relaxation-first wellness session, with the head and scalp treatment as the core of the menu.
