Hazel's Hair Studio

The studio operated inside Sola Salon Studios for about five years as an independent stylist practice, and in January 2024 it moved to Sage Collective Salon, a community salon with independent stylists, in Wakefield. A second address, at 56 General Way in Reading, is also listed.

Services cover haircuts, styling and hair treatments. Precision cuts are offered for men and women, and men's styles are done with scissor-over-comb work, using trimmers for edge work. Children under 12 can book haircuts, and neck or bang trims are available between full cuts to keep a style looking fresh.

Blowouts are mostly done with a non-round brush. Updos range from soft, romantic looks to braided styles, and every updo booking starts with a consultation to confirm the look, the time needed and the cost. Styling for formal and casual occasions is also available.

Treatments are tailored to what each client's hair needs. Options include clarifying for product buildup, conditioning for dry hair, and smoothing and strengthening treatments. The studio sells Davines, OI and Essencial Haircare products at the location only.

According to the salon, precision haircuts are $95, blowouts $55, neck or bang trims $15, conditioning treatments $25, updos start at $70, and children's haircuts are $55 for children under 12. Appointments are booked online through Vagaro, with flexible times available on request, and payment is accepted by credit card, cash or check.
