Waterless services are offered in place of a traditional water soak. According to the salon, this reduces infection risk and saves thousands of gallons of water each year.

Services come at two price levels. Standard services are performed by Nail Artists described as licensed, who have completed a Haven apprenticeship and have additional industry experience. Owner-level services are performed by Natalie Cary, the studio owner and lead nail technician. Standard pedicure prices run from $40 for the Express Pedi to $100 for the Extra Pedi, and owner-level prices are higher. The salon calls the Haven Pedi its signature service.

The studio is open Tuesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; it is closed Sunday and Monday. There is usually no front desk, so clients book and reach the salon by text, email or voicemail. Late arrivals should call or text, since appointments cannot be guaranteed after 15 minutes. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 12 hours' notice, and shorter notice carries a fee of 50%, 75% or 100% of the scheduled services depending on timing.

The salon avoids over-nipping cuticles and harsh filing that can split nails. It favors waterless services, which it says reduce infection risk.
