Haven Hair Studio is a small studio in Edison Park where the owner handles each visit from start to finish. Services cover color, cuts, blowouts, keratin treatments, and brow and lip waxing. Free street parking is directly in front of the studio, and no permit is needed.
Services are booked online through a Square menu, where starting prices are listed. Final prices depend on hair length, density and what is agreed at the appointment. New clients can book a 15-minute consultation for $20, which is credited toward the service they book. Color services of 2 hours or more are held with a $50 deposit taken online and deducted from the total on the day.
The studio runs Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and stays shut on Sundays. Phone calls are not taken, so clients contact the studio by text at 773-430-2501. Color appointments need 48 hours' notice to change, and cuts, blowouts and brow services need 24 hours. A late cancellation means the deposit is kept. A no-show can incur a charge of 50% of the booked service. Appointments are held for 15 minutes past the start time, after which the service may be shortened or the booking moved. Rescheduling is handled through the Square confirmation or by text. For color visits, clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair.
Gift cards can be bought by text or email in amounts of $50, $75, $100 or $200, or in any other amount. The studio reports a 4.8-star rating from 38 Google reviews.
