Autumn Stelter opened Haus of Hues in 2016 as her own studio salon, after working in a salon in Texas. The studio operates from inside FORUM Beauty and Wellness Studios in League City, and its menu centers on color work, with lived-in color and balayage among her specialties.

Visits are by appointment only. New clients complete a questionnaire before booking a chemical service or an in-person consultation, and every chemical service begins with a consultation. A non-refundable $75 deposit is collected before any chemical service is booked and is applied to the appointment. Color correction is offered for previously colored hair or at-home color that has turned out differently than hoped, and it requires an in-person consultation before booking.

The menu covers root touch-ups, full color, mini, power partial and full highlights, lived-in blonding in full and partial versions, color and highlights, haircuts, shampoo and style, and smoothing. Brazilian Blowout adds a protein layer to reduce frizz and smooth the cuticle with no downtime, and the salon says results can last up to 12 weeks with proper home care. Brazilian Blowout Free is formulated without formaldehyde and can be customized for all hair types. Brow tinting can be added to any appointment.

Scheduling policies are firm. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours notice, and shorter notice carries a fee of 50% of the service cost before future booking can be made. Clients who are running late should text ahead; arrivals more than 15 minutes late may have the appointment reopened or given away, and a late appointment may not allow the full service. Clients who do not call or show up cannot book future appointments. New client inquiries are answered within 24 to 48 hours, existing clients book through the online link, and a text reminder is sent at the start of the week.

Every chemical service starts with a consultation, and new clients complete a questionnaire before booking, so the color plan fits the hair before any work begins.
