HAUS OF BLND is located at 1235 W Chestnut Street inside Phenix Salon Suites in Union. Co-founders Danielle Chipoco and Jessica Oliveira had worked together and known each other for more than six years before opening the salon.

The salon says it aims to be a different kind of experience from what people tend to expect of a traditional salon, and to build relationships between clients and stylists that reach beyond hair.

Clients who are unsure what to book can start with a free consultation of at least 15 minutes. Color and cut adjustments made within the week of an original appointment are free. New extension clients complete a full consultation covering method, color, length and upkeep before booking.

Hours are Monday 10 AM to 3 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday 10 AM to 6 PM, Thursday 10 AM to 7 PM, Friday 10 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM. The salon is closed on Sundays. A 48-hour cancellation and no-show policy applies: changes made more than 48 hours ahead carry no charge to the card on file, cancellations inside 48 hours are charged 50% of the appointment, and no-shows are charged 50%. Rescheduling within the week carries no charge. Deposits and services are non-refundable. Gift cards are offered.
