Harmony Aesthetics opened in 2016. The business describes itself as the first of its kind in Yorkville. Its stated mission is to help clients feel good about their own skin, with each visit shaped around the individual.

The studio offers skincare, full body hair removal, eyelash extensions and lash lifting. Halo Therapy is its best-known service, offered in four named options: the Head in the Clouds dry head massage, which takes 20 minutes and is done without wetting the hair, and the Sakura, Ume and Hinoki treatments, which run longer and add more steps. The names come from Japanese nature symbols: Sakura cherry blossom, Ume plum blossom and Hinoki cypress.

Halo sessions use scalp massage with essential oils such as lavender and eucalyptus, with spa music playing. The longer treatments add neck, shoulder and hand massage. The business says Halo Therapy supports scalp health, relaxation and blood flow to the hair follicles. Clients with hair extensions should remove them before booking, and the treatment is not offered for open wounds, cuts or infections of the skin or scalp. Anyone unsure whether it suits them is asked to check with their physician first.

According to the salon, it supports other local small businesses and nonprofits through volunteering, fundraising and donations. Its awards list includes Best of the Fox recognition for skincare providers in Kendall County from 2019 through 2025 and for spas in 2017 and 2018, Glancer Magazine's Best of the Best for everyday spa treatments in 2019 and 2020, and Yorkville Chamber of Commerce honors in 2018 and 2019.
