Haque Chiropractic shares its Livermore building with Lifestyle Fitness, a business founded there in 1999. The shared facility offers chiropractic care, personal training, injury rehab, massage therapy and Cryoskin treatments.

The practice says it treats the whole person, including the stress and life problems that can affect a patient, not only the pain itself. Its stated mission is to provide care aimed at better nervous system function and overall body wellness, without harmful drugs or surgery. The practice also says chiropractic is safe and effective, citing studies conducted over more than 50 years in the United States and Canada.

A first visit begins with a consultation and a full chiropractic, neurologic, orthopedic, postural and muscular examination made up of 66 tests, which the practice describes as painless. X-rays are taken only when the doctor considers them necessary. Care is then planned around the individual, and when needed, custom-made foot supports by Foot Levelers are provided. Re-examinations take place every 30 to 45 days of care, and patients may continue on a maintenance program once their correction is reached. Same-day appointments are available for emergencies.

The massage menu includes full body massage for everyday stress relief and hot stone massage, in which smooth heated stones are placed on specific areas of the body and also used by the therapist to massage. The practice says in-house massage is provided by certified massage therapists. StemWave, which the practice describes as an affordable and non-invasive shockwave treatment, is offered for shoulder, back, hip, knee and foot pain. Neveskin Therapy covers cryoskin slimming, toning and facial treatments, with slimming and toning sessions lasting about half an hour.

The office is open Monday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Friday 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Payment options include insurance, Cherry, and cash plans or payment plans; the practice asks patients to call for plan details. It accepts PPO and EPO plans from several insurers and Medicare, but the practice notes that the list is not complete and coverage should be verified.

Care is individualized and includes exercises to do at home, aimed at correcting the problem and strengthening the affected muscles. The practice looks at stress and life circumstances alongside the physical complaint.
