Clients may bring headphones, a fidget or other items that help them relax.

Visits are built around the individual. Appointments are not double-booked or rushed, and each step is explained before it is done. Prices shown are starting rates, and the final price depends on hair length, density and time. New clients are welcome and are asked to arrive 10 minutes early. Clients are asked to come with their hair in its natural state, without heat styling for two or more days beforehand, and may bring inspiration photos of styles they like or dislike.

The menu is organized into Curly Cuts, Straight Cuts, Blonding, Color, Quick Services and Add-Ons. Curly cuts use dry-cutting techniques designed for textured hair, and the salon also offers pixie cuts, including first cuts and clean-ups of an existing pixie. Color ranges from full blonde transformations and balayage to root touch-ups, all-over color and fantasy shades such as galaxy vivids, bold pastels and artistic placements. Add-ons are meant to be added to a full appointment and include a deep conditioning treatment, a scalp scrub, a rejuvenating treatment and a detangle for stubborn tangles.

New guests can book a New Guest Short Curly Cut or a New Guest Medium/Long Curly Cut. These include a personalized cut, a deep cleanse, product samples and styling guidance, with the medium and long version adding a styling routine. Aftercare guides for curly cuts, color treatments, treatments and general styling are on the website. A 15-minute consultation is available by video or in person.

Booking is done online through Vagaro. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice. Clients running late can send a text, and texting is preferred during appointments. Free parking is available at Salon Lofts at Crossing Point. The studio is in Loft 26, reached by walking through the front door and down the hallway toward the back.
