Hairless Hub

Hairless Hub is a studio in Clovis that works only in electrolysis, a method of permanent hair removal. Its treatments are offered on all areas of the body and are suited to every hair color, skin tone and hair type, according to the studio.

Electrolysis works by placing a fine probe into each hair follicle and passing a small, controlled electrical current through it to destroy the cells that produce hair. Because each follicle is treated individually, the studio notes that several sessions may be needed to address an area.

Before any first treatment, every client has a free 30-minute consultation, including clients who have had electrolysis somewhere else. Intake paperwork and a waiver must be completed ahead of that consultation. The studio describes its technology as advanced and says it is aimed at effective, lasting results.

Sessions are priced by length, from a 15-minute visit at $50 and a 30-minute visit at $75, up to 60 minutes at $130, with longer 2, 2.5 and 3-hour sessions at $260, $315 and $390. Longer sessions can be paid over time through Affirm, starting at $24, $29 and $36 per month respectively. A five-hour package of five 60-minute visits costs $575, which the studio lists as a saving of $75 against its stated original value; the package has no expiration date and can be paid by check in person.

Appointments are required and walk-ins are not accepted. Free parking is available in the lot, and the studio offers complimentary beverages and snacks. The studio is wheelchair accessible and notes a 16-and-older age guideline for clients.

The studio says it supports the LGBTQIA+ community and wants clients to feel comfortable there.
