HairFolkLaur has operated from its own suite within Beauty Collective Salon Suites since the building opened in April 2021. The suite sits among 28 other beauty suites in the building, and Garden City and the Warwick Mall are nearby for shopping and dining. The suite is described as cozy and relaxed, and the business says all people are welcome and that inclusivity matters to it.

Every visit begins with a digital consultation form, and the stylist goes over the answers at the start of the session. Lauren Eliana works with each client to understand what they are picturing before anything begins, and the hair transformation is shaped together with the client toward a result that suits them. Every session ends with a blowdry or style and a short styling lesson so the client can recreate the look at home. Afterward, a follow-up email recaps the session and any product suggestions, and a check-in follows seven days later. Rare product add-ons for extra length and density may be offered, and these are discussed up front.

The color menu centers on custom work that blends natural color with bold or moody dye, with sessions long enough to build the look carefully. Options include a longer custom session designed to grow out gracefully and a six-hour creative consultation with bold dye choices. Head spa sessions use herbs, energy work and organic products, and the business describes its head spa as a luxury service. Sessions range from a relaxing option to a customized treatment aimed at scalp health, and a longer session for new clients who want more understanding of their scalp and hair.

Snacks, drinks, free Wi-Fi and device charging are available during a visit. A background playlist plays by default, and clients can ask for different music or a quiet session. Adult fidget tools are on hand. Payment plans are available. Regular hours run Tuesday through Thursday 11am to 7pm, Friday 10am to 7pm, and Saturday 8am to 2pm, though Saturdays are pop-up dates with very limited availability.
