Hairempire by Nina Grace

Hairempire is run by Nina Grace, who works as a licensed hair braider and weaver and reports about 10 years of experience.

The menu covers box braids in knotless and regular versions, with individual braids available as a box braid option. Other offerings include cornrows and tribal cornrow styles, twists in all types, locs and microlocs, Brazilian knots, Miracleknots and crochet styles. Kids' styles are offered for ages 5 to 11, and there are braiding services for boys.

Maintenance is handled through re-touch and takedown appointments. Hair is not supplied by the business, so clients bring their own; Xpression Prestretched 3X hair in 42 or 52 inches is recommended for long styles.

Booking follows a set routine. A non-refundable $35 deposit is required before any appointment and is credited toward the style price. The remaining balance is paid in cash in the exact amount, and a $5 transaction fee applies. Clients should arrive with hair washed, detangled, stretched and blown out from root to end. Hair that is not ready to braid carries a $20 extra fee, and short hair carries a $30 extra fee. Hair accessories are free except beads.

Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice for the deposit to carry over to a future appointment; a shorter notice means a new deposit is needed to rebook. Appointments can be rescheduled once, extra guests are not accepted, Saturday bookings require contacting the business directly, and style adjustments must be requested within 2 days. The business reserves the right to refuse service.
