Claudio Lazo's background includes four salons he operated before HAIREM, along with editorial shoots, campaigns and collaborations. Jaclyn Wosk leads much of the color work, from refreshing existing color to complete transformations.

A women's haircut starts at $150 and is customized after a consultation, and includes a blow-dry. Men's cuts come in a regular version at $100 that includes shampoo, cut and style, and a full treatment starting at $125 that adds a scalp massage and trimming of eyebrows, beard, mustache and ears. A women's bangs fringe cut is $85 and uses a dry-cutting method that blends the bangs into the sides; shampoo is not included. A women's blow-dry starts at $85 and includes a relaxing shampoo.

Color services include root touch-ups from $100, with $35 added for one inch or more of regrowth, all-over single-process color from $185, partial highlights and face framing from $225, full highlights from $275 with lowlights optional, balayage (freehand highlighting) from $275, and bleach and tone from $240 depending on regrowth and length. Gloss is $85 and must be booked with another color service. Color correction is priced after a consultation, which is required before booking. Prices for highlights and balayage rise by $85 when gloss is added.

Appointments can be booked online or by calling the salon at 818.763.4005. Online booking lists each service separately, so each one has to be added on its own. Cancellations and questions are handled by phone or text rather than email. Payment is by Zelle, Venmo or cash, as credit cards are not accepted. The salon is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 6pm, Friday from 10am to 6:30pm and Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and is closed Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. The salon at 11421 Moorpark Street describes the duo's work as award-winning.

The salon's stylists work from a philosophy that great hair should change how a client feels, and they take looks from subtle refinements through to transformative makeovers.
