The salon is on the corner of 4th Street and Dana Avenue, across from the public library. Clients can book online through the salon's website or its Square booking page, or call or email the salon. A waitlist is available for cancellations and openings, and clients can leave a note with preferred pronouns or accommodation needs when booking online.
Color is a large part of the menu. Root touch-ups and all-over color take about two hours. Full foil highlights or lowlights cover the whole head, while partial foils are done through the crown only. Paint-between services are offered after either foil option, and specialty color covers ombre and balayage. Bright shades such as pink, teal and purple are offered as fashion color, which can take about four hours and sometimes needs more than one visit. The salon keeps many fashion shades in stock and may order others; clients are asked to note their desired colors and current hair color when booking.
The salon also offers haircuts, bang trims, waxing, deep conditioning, and special occasion updos for weddings, prom and other formal events, in both up and down styles. Its hair color is low ammonia and made with certified organic ingredients, and the salon recycles empty product bottles and materials the local recycling center accepts. It sells Lanza, Neuma, Voce, Loma and Bokka Botanika hair products, which are sulfate-free, paraben-free and cruelty-free, and it also carries gift cards.
Aims to offer services and products that are kind to the planet and to clients, using low-ammonia color and products free of harsh chemicals, with eco-friendly cleansers, bulbs and materials where possible.
