HairDiivaa was founded by Alaina Long, who is listed as CEO. Alaina started braiding as a child, practicing cornrows, box braids, feed-ins and buns, and the business has grown from that hands-on background. It has served the greater Inland Empire for approximately 12 years, according to the business.

The menu covers braids built several ways. Knotless braids use extensions attached without knots at the roots. Feed-in braids are built up from the scalp with the extensions woven in as the braid is made, rather than added afterward. Box braids are individual plaits divided by small square parts, with synthetic or natural hair added for length and fullness. Braided updos include fishtail, waterfall and three-strand options. Men's braids are offered and are best suited to longer hair, with men's styles starting at $65.

Press and curl creates a straightened, silk-like finish using products and hot tools. Wash and blow-dry is included with every style, and clients who arrive already washed and blown out pay the same price. The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9AM to 6PM, and closed Sunday and Monday. Clients have a grace period of 15 to 20 minutes after their start time; later arrivals must reschedule, and rebooking requires another deposit.
