Hairbyjacks works from unit 115 at 284 Dupont St in Corona and takes bookings through an online GlossGenius page. Appointments run on weekday mornings and Saturday mornings, and the studio is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Haircuts start at $35 and take at least 30 minutes. They cover trims that keep an existing shape, cuts that change the style, reshape the hair or add layers, and clipper cuts with one guard length throughout and a trim on top. Children's haircuts are priced the same as adults'. Color services start at $100 and take at least 60 minutes, either as color alone or color with a haircut. Options include all-over color, root and grey maintenance, gloss or tone, and lowlights. Black Dye No 1 starts at $110 for refreshing existing black hair in shades such as blue-black, jet black, soft black and a glass-like finish. Blonding and highlights start at $290 and take at least 150 minutes, offering partial, full or dimensional blonding from soft caramel to brighter blonde; pricing reflects the time and work involved rather than how light the result is, and some blonding goals take more than one session.

Hair extension installs start at $50.50 and take at least 30 minutes. Sew-in wefts, tape-ins, I-tips and K-tips are all available. Wefts are priced by row and tape-ins, I-tips and K-tips by pack. The studio installs only; clients buy their own extension hair, and removal is booked and charged separately. A consultation can be booked beforehand to help choose hair. Sew-in extension classes are also offered for licensed cosmetologists, as one-on-one sessions, group sessions or a stylist refresher, and they are booked through a waitlist.

Blowout-style hairstyles cost $20 and take 30 minutes, including a wash, blow-dry and the chosen style. Hair tinsel is $30 for 30 minutes, with strands in a range of colors for kids and adults. Booking requires a non-refundable deposit, and appointments are not accepted until it is paid. The deposit can be moved once to a new date. Cancellations and no-shows carry a flat fee of 50% of the service total, which can be avoided with three days' notice. Clients have a 10-minute grace period, and late arrivals may need to rebook. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.
