Elian, the founder, runs the salon and works as a loc stylist. The salon's stated mission is to build client confidence through expert loc care that enhances natural beauty, and its vision is to be a go-to destination for specialized loc services in a welcoming, inclusive setting.

Every new install and every repair begins with a consultation, which costs $30 and can be done in person or virtually over FaceTime or WhatsApp; the fee is credited toward the install. Installs are full-day appointments that can run 12 to 18 hours, and hair should be clean, blown out and tangle-free with no products applied beforehand. Clients typically need about 4 inches of hair.

Installs can be paid over six weeks, and microlocs and Sisterlocs have their own payment plans by loc style, with weekly or monthly options and automatic charges until the balance is cleared. A private booking link is sent once the plan is paid in full. Consultation fees and install deposits are non-refundable, and the salon says it will inspect and correct issues with an install. Final payment is taken by cash, Cash App or Zelle on the day of the appointment, after services begin.

The salon says each service is tailored to the client's loc needs, and it builds every new install or repair around a consultation first.
