Hairapy

Hairapy has been operating since 2010 from a suite on Wolf Creek Parkway in Basehor. The salon is set up to be family-friendly and serves clients of all ages, from young children to adults, with a team of four stylists that includes the owner.

Color is a large part of the menu. Free-hand and foil natural highlights (balayage) cost $150 and take about 2 hours 35 minutes, a full head of foil color costs $140 and takes about 2 hours, and color in foils around the hairline and part costs $115 for about 1 hour 45 minutes. All-over color without foils costs $140 for about 1 hour 55 minutes. Semi-permanent all-over color is $120, semi-permanent and gray root touch-ups are $90 each, and a toner is $20.

Haircuts are priced by age and gender: a women's cut is $40, a men's cut is $30, a cut for ages 10 and under is $25, and a teen cut for ages 10 to 15 is $30. A men's neck clean-up or beard trim is $10 each. Other services include perms for $115, blowouts for $35, and a facial waxing menu with full face, chin, lip and eyebrow waxing and eyebrow tinting.

For formal occasions, a bridal updo costs $75 and a bridal half-up, half-down style costs $65, with a $100 travel fee for styling on location. Booking is available through the Book A Session button on the salon's site or by calling 913-638-8944.
