Tray Henry owns and founded Hairajuku Salon, which opened in 2008. The salon sits in Redlands, Southern California, a short distance from the historic downtown area.

The building keeps some original 1920s features alongside a modern-industrial look. Original steel beams, a sawtooth roof, quartz countertops and plenty of natural light give the space its character.

Haircuts for long, medium or short hair include a customized wash, blow dry or styling. Color work covers brunette, redhead, blonde and rainbow shades, tailored to each client. Balayage blends into a natural look without visible regrowth lines, babylights are placed in micro-thin strands with small gaps, and ombre moves from darker roots to lighter ends. Highlights lighten all over for a clear change, while lowlights add a shade or two darker than the base for depth. Gray coverage can cover gray completely or just touch up roots, with permanent and temporary options.

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. A deposit is required for future bookings after a third late cancellation or reschedule. Clients more than 15 minutes late may need to rebook. Adjustments for dissatisfaction are offered within one week of the last appointment, but complimentary services are not given for a change of mind. Product purchases can be exchanged within 30 days. Children 12 and under are welcome only when receiving a service, and animals are not allowed except trained assistance animals. Free parking is for guests and employees. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm, Thursday from 10am to 5pm, and closed Sunday and Monday.

Its design and mission draw on Tokyo's Harajuku district, aiming to bring a fresh, playful style to the Inland Empire.
