The salon opened in 1987 in the old Winn Dixie shopping center on Cherry Road and moved to its current Riverview Commons location in 2010. The Hair Savvy name has been used in Rock Hill since January 2004. Ownership has changed a few times over the years, and the name was different in earlier years.
