Hair Haven + Company

The business describes itself as a holistic hair wellness spa. Founder Taralika McAdoo started it to offer a healthy hair spa centered on education, scalp wellness and intentional care. Each service is given individually in a salon suite inside Mane Atelier Salon Suites in Riverview.

The Hydrate Express Bar is a 10-minute express hydration treatment using an in-salon mister and a curated conditioner. It comes in several versions: nano mist without styling, with a blow dry, scalp care only, or with a blow dry and maintenance trim, which suits braid or sew-in prep and take-downs. A detox treatment can be added to the scalp care and blow dry versions, and cryotherapy may be used during hydration to help seal in moisture, adjusted to hair type, condition and porosity. Other services include scalp care, curly hair care, silk presses, relaxer and texturizer services, strengthening and smoothing, healthy hair care regimens, color and precision cuts.

Haven Maison is a separate enhancement offering with custom color matching, textured hair options, low-visibility installations and scalp-conscious planning. The process moves through a consultation, custom hair and color selection, installation and ongoing maintenance. A Flat Twist & Define Package is sold prepaid with an expiration date, and it can be redeemed by other guests using a code given at checkout. Monthly subscriptions are offered for certain high-demand reservations at a discount.

Guests receive a robe and spa slippers when they arrive, and parking on site is free. There is no front desk, so visitors send a text to let the team know they have arrived. eWellness Magazine has written about the salon's focus on hair health, and VoyageTampa interviewed founder Taralika McAdoo.
