The salon says it aims for quality service with quality products. Its hair products are sulphate free and paraben free, its color products contain herbal ingredients, and it holds regular practice sessions to sharpen stylists' technique.

Several services set the salon apart. The Crystallizing Regenerate Treatment is its signature treatment, which the salon says lasts six weeks or more and adds shine and smoothness while offering UV protection. Japanese Hair Straight is done with the Yuko and Milbon Liscio systems, uses no formaldehyde according to the salon, and aims for a natural finish rather than a stiff one. It cannot be done on hair that has been bleached before, and with the crystallizing treatment it takes three to four hours.

Air Wave is a perm that sets the wave with air instead of heat. It suits colored hair and soft hair that needs root volume, and it lasts about four to five months depending on wave strength. It does not work on bleached hair, so clients who are unsure can check by text. The Nano Digital Perm gives a ridged, curling-iron look and is designed for thick or straight hair.

Cuts are done with the Craftsman Dry Cut, a method based on the New York Dry Cut technique in which hair is cut before it is wet. Men's haircuts are done entirely with scissors. The salon offers a free fix for any chemical service a client is unhappy with, as long as the request is made within two weeks. Requests made after two weeks are declined. Street parking is available near the San Francisco location, and a parking garage is in Japan Town at Fillmore and Post. The San Francisco location is open Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday 11 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM.
