Hair by the Aker is a small studio run by its owner, Jamie, who also does the hands-on work. The space was set up for clients who want a private, relaxed salon visit rather than a busy floor.
Services are booked by appointment only. Clients are asked to text the studio at (317) 552-9814, or email hairbytheaker@gmail.com. The studio is open Tuesday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and is closed Monday, Thursday and Sunday.
The studio offers non-surgical hair systems for men through Hairskeen Hair Systems, and a complimentary hair system consultation for anyone who wants to learn about the options first. It also offers hair regrowth services for both men and women, using the Calecim methods Jamie is certified in. Color and styling are done with the Eufora line.
The studio is built around private, unhurried appointments, with the setting designed for clients who want a relaxed and personal experience.
