Hair by Syd is a hair salon at 1287 Promenade Place, Suite 122 in Eagan, Minnesota. Its services cover hair extensions, hair color, haircuts, and waxing and tint services, and it is accepting new clients.

Appointments are booked online through the Book now page. A card on file is needed to hold a booking and is charged only for late cancellations or no-shows. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice, and text reminders go out 48 and 24 hours before each appointment. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule or have their service shortened. Repeat no-shows may be unable to book future appointments. The salon accepts cash, card and Venmo, but not checks. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with Tuesday and Sunday closed.

Color corrections begin with an in-person consultation and a $100 non-refundable deposit. They can take four to eight hours and sometimes span a full day. Every client is double-draped, though the salon is not responsible for replacing or paying for belongings stained by color. One complimentary adjustment is offered within 7 days of the original appointment for tone, blend, or fixing the original consultation goal. Adjustments are void if another stylist alters the hair before the salon sees it, and no refunds are offered.
