Hair by Mikayla works out of a suite inside Posh Salon Suites in St. Charles. The studio is open Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Thursday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is closed Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

The menu runs from simple trims and kids' haircuts through full-color work. Color options include all-over color, root touch-ups, root blending for blonde clients, gloss and toner, foil highlights in several sizes, and balayage in partial and full versions. Color correction is priced per half hour.

Clients can start with a complimentary 15-minute consultation. Hair extensions require a consultation before booking; an installation takes about three hours, and a move-up takes about two hours and 35 minutes with pricing that depends on the extension type. Other services include a keratin treatment, hard water treatment, scalp treatments with or without a blowout, blowouts, updos, and curling or flat ironing on dry hair.
