New clients who are unsure what to book can use a free 15-minute digital consultation first. The in-person consultation takes place once the client is in the chair and covers hair history, goals and upcoming appointments, so there are no forms to fill out in advance. Appointment notes are kept in each client's folder, the stylist checks in about a week after a visit, and clients are prebooked for their next appointment when their schedule allows; otherwise they leave with a card listing the recommended next service. A reminder text goes out two days before each appointment and must be confirmed through a link. Color is a large part of the work. All Over Color starts at $160 and is meant for going darker, with a haircut, blowout and styling included. Color Retouch is $100 and covers grey at the root. Highlights and lowlights are offered as partial ($200) or full ($250) services, and a toner for blondes ($60) serves as a quick refresh between highlight visits. Haircuts for fine or medium hair at shoulder length or longer are $60 and take about an hour; long or thick hair is $75 and takes about an hour and fifteen minutes. Short clipper cuts are not offered, and those clients are referred to barbers. Add-on treatments can be booked with a visit: a Hair Mask for intensive hydration ($10), a four-step Scalp Treatment for dry or flaky scalps with a rose scent and scalp massage ($20), and a two-step K18 Treatment for clients going much lighter or who have permanent or box color, to support hair during bleaching ($20). Lucky Locks glitter strands are individually hand tied silk that is heat and color resistant. They can be added to color or cut services and last two to six months for adults and a few weeks to two months for children. Installation alone is $30, $60 or $90 for 10, 20 or 30 sparkles, and does not include a wash and style, though a blowout can be booked with it. Questions can be emailed and are answered Wednesday through Saturday, and appointments are booked online through Square. The salon does not hold credit cards and does not charge for rescheduling, but a required service fee applies to no-shows before the client can rebook. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to three days ahead; within 48 hours, changes must be made by email.
