Kimber owns Hair By Kimber and works there as its cosmetologist. She has been doing hair for 17 years and has worked independently for the past seven, running her own studio in Hebron.
Before going out on her own, she taught and ran the cosmetology program at Gateway Community & Technical College and worked as an Assistant Manager at Dillard's.
Every service starts with a personalized consultation, so the cut or color is planned around the individual client. Kimber gives each client her full attention and listens closely to what they want before recommending a look that fits their everyday routine.
Appointments are booked online through Vagaro. The studio is open Monday and Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Thursday 9 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM, and it is closed on Sundays.
Kimber starts by listening, then steers each client toward a style that works with how they live.
