Clients buy their own hair for braids.

Locs are cared for with professional shampooing, conditioning and maintenance, with loc services starting at $85. Locs that are matted or have more than 2 inches of new growth carry additional charges. Extensions are offered at varying prices.

For styling, the salon offers a silk press, a temporary straightening service without chemicals that costs $75. Specialty styles start at $50 and include roller sets, rod sets, finger waves, French rolls, updos, and party or wedding looks. The smoothing treatment, at $180, combines a consultation, a precision cut or trim, and an amino acid infused strengthening silk press. It is the entry service into the 12 Week Silk Press System.

Hours are Tuesday through Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with extra slots from 3:30 to 4:30 pm and 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
