Hair By Alexcis works from Room 26 in suite 100 at Sola Salons on East Stockton Boulevard in Elk Grove. Appointments are booked online through GlossGenius, and the studio is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, closed Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Color is the main focus. Coloring is grouped by time, from a mini transformation of about 2 hours up to a holy transformation of about 4.5 hours, with separate touch-ups for regrowth and bleached hair and a glaze that adds shine without covering grey. Some coloring needs a text before booking, and a consultation is required before a major or holy transformation. Portfolio work includes balayage in blonde, red, purple, blue, dark blonde, golden and copper tones, plus custom pink, purple and blue.

Cuts and styling include a scissor cut with wash and blow dry, a clipper cut, and a dry-hair scissor cut for clients who arrive with clean, detangled hair. Blowouts can be booked singly, in packages of three or four, or through monthly or every-other-month memberships, with unused credits rolling over.

Treatments include Magic Sleek, a longer-lasting anti-frizz smoothing option made with clean ingredients, and Amika Smooth Over, a customizable smoothing treatment that lasts about seven weeks. A scalp detox and massage, individual scalp scrubs and detox systems, custom hair masks and a Miracle treatment for shine and manageability are also offered. Clients with beaded weft extensions can book maintenance to move them up.
