Hair by Adam

Hair by Adam is a private studio at 9850 N Central Expy, Suite 101, in Dallas, owned by Adam Threadgill and operated by Hair by Adam Threadgill, LLC. Because the studio works with one client at a time, appointments are unhurried. It is open Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and it is closed Sunday through Tuesday.

Each haircut starts with a consultation about the client's goals, daily routine and personal style. The cut is then shaped to their hair texture, their lifestyle and how often they can return, and the visit ends with a personalized maintenance schedule and styling routine. New guests receive a text one to two days before their visit with directions, a confirmation and a chance to ask questions. A few days after a first visit, Adam follows up by email to answer questions and send a custom maintenance schedule with product recommendations.

A visit includes a complimentary beverage or snack, with vinyl records playing on the record player. Clients can also bring their own LP. The menu runs from the Express Haircut Refresh, a quick dry trim for existing guests, through the Maintenance Haircut and the Transformative Haircut, to the Style Experience for special occasions. Hair and scalp treatments can be added to any haircut or styling visit.

Cuts are built around each client's hair texture, daily life and upkeep schedule, favoring low-maintenance shapes that grow out well. Product recommendations lean toward eco-friendly, sustainable, fragrance-free and cruelty-free lines.
