The haircut and styling menu covers men's, women's and children's cuts, with pricing based on the difficulty and time each cut takes. Bang trims, beard and mustache shaping, and shampoo with styling are also offered. Color work includes foil coloring, balayage blonding with toning, hi or low lighting, bleach retouch, temporary color, and color re-growth with an end refresh. Men can book grey blending, which uses Scruples MENZ or Redken Color Camo to blend grey and white hairs without changing the rest of the color. The salon says this gives a natural result and guarantees it.
For straight and texture-changing services, the salon offers Brazilian Blowout and keratin smoothing, Japanese thermal straightening, chemical straightening for virgin hair, curl texturizing, ionic straightening, and body wave or permanent curl. The salon says it knows what works best for very straight, textured Asian hair, and notes that perms can last about six months on longer Asian hair. Straightening and smoothing services require a consultation and a 50% deposit. Hotheads tape-in extensions and tape-in human hair installs are also available, and waxing, facial and curl appointments take a non-refundable deposit.
Detailed consultations are included with all haircuts and chemical appointments. A consultation costs $50, and the full amount is credited toward any appointment booked for that service. Individualized skin care advice is offered at no charge, and interested clients can receive a free sample of suitable styling product. To book, clients should call or email, since the online contact form does not schedule appointments. Kat's listed hours are Tuesday to Thursday from noon to 7 pm and Saturday from 10:30 am to 5 pm; Sunday is closed, and Monday and Friday are closed or by appointment.
