Hair Art & Co has served Richardson and North Dallas since 1983. Fran Little Terhune was the original owner. Jerome and Rhonda Hagood bought the salon in 2004 and have been its co-owners since March of that year. The business moved to its current suite on West Campbell Road on August 2, 2011.

Hair Art & Co has served Richardson and North Dallas since 1983. Fran Little Terhune was the original owner. Jerome and Rhonda Hagood bought the salon in 2004 and have been its co-owners since March of that year. The business moved to its current suite on West Campbell Road on August 2, 2011.

The team includes ten stylists, two nail technicians, one aesthetician and one shampoo technician. The aesthetician offers facials and waxing, including threading. The salon says it has state-of-the-art equipment and that it carries on a long tradition of excellence.

The salon aims for an inventive, fun environment and places weight on teamwork among its staff. Its product lines were chosen for their performance in the salon, and they include SURFACE Hair Care, Redken, Keratin Complex, and CND Shellac and polishes. Styling tools are also sold for use at home.

A Keratin treatment is offered as an in-salon service. The salon claims the treatment can eliminate up to 95% of frizz and curl. Shellac manicures are performed by a Shellac certified technician, and nail technicians follow sanitation guidelines set by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments can be booked by phone at 972-680-9501. Evening appointments are available by calling the salon. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice. The salon is open Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, and is closed on Mondays and Sundays.
