H2 Salon Brooklyn works from a main location on Tompkins Avenue in Bed-Stuy and a second location on Fulton Street. Its focus is natural and healthy hair, with natural hairstyling, straightening, protective styles and color techniques chosen with hair safety in mind.

Haircut pricing depends on whether a client is new or returning. Returning clients who had a cut in the past eight months start at $130 and get a tailored layered cut for medium to long hair, a wash, and wash-and-go or silk press styling; bobs, tapers and short cuts are not included. New clients, or those returning after eight months, start at $250 for a longer appointment of two to two and a half hours. That visit adds a scalp treatment, detox shampoo, deep conditioner, styling and hair care recommendations.

Blow dries and silk presses start at $65 and take an hour and a half to two hours. Clients who have not had a professional trim or haircut in the last three months are asked to book a haircut along with the blow dry or silk press, and should keep castor oil and coconut oil out of their hair beforehand. Root touch-ups at $125 cover roots for returning clients with less than two inches of new growth and take 40 minutes to an hour. A 15-minute deep condition add-on is $25 and must be booked with a styling or haircut appointment.

Men's haircuts are $85 and take about 1 hour 15 minutes. They are clipper-based precision cuts that include fading, tapering and line work. According to the Tompkins Avenue listing, hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 6pm, Thursday 12pm to 8pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm, and Sunday 10am to 2pm.
