Gwen Hair is a private, appointment-only studio run by its owner and stylist, Gwen, at Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. The studio is open by appointment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and is closed Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The menu is built around color, from glosses and base breaks through roots, all-over color, full and partial highlights, and Bayalage/Foiliage. Corrective color, bleach and toning are priced after a consultation. Cuts and trims for women, men and bangs are also offered, along with blowdries.
Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours before a scheduled service. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours are charged 50% of the scheduled cost. A $50 blowdry is added to the total when a color service has no cut attached; the studio notes this is not blowout pricing.
Recommended hair products for home use are available through a shop link on the website.
