Guava Collective

Guava Collective is a private nail studio in Yonkers where each client is seen one-on-one. Its main focus is waterless pedicures, offered in three tiers, alongside manicures and foot care. Monica owns the studio and works as its nail technician.

Every appointment uses a tool set that is individually packaged and autoclave-sterilized. The studio describes its foot care as customizable and built around prevention, so the service is tailored to what each client's feet and nails need. Appointments run Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings, and on Saturday mornings to early afternoon. Clients can reach the studio by phone or email.

The pedicure tiers rise in scope. The Foundation tier covers cuticle work, callus care, massage and Dazzle Dry polish, and includes 20 minutes of red light therapy. The Restore tier adds corrective work for moderate calluses, and the Renew tier, the longest, adds advanced callus work and toenail reconstruction with one Onyfix repair. Onyfix ingrown nail treatment is a commitment-based service with follow-up visits every 12 to 14 weeks. Toenail reconstruction can also be booked one nail at a time.

Manicures range from a no-polish option to a Russian-style dry cuticle service with e-file work. The Monthly Manicure Ritual is a one-on-one Russian manicure with dry cuticle work, structured gel and nail art, and includes a choice of drink.

The studio also teaches nail technicians. Classes are capped at one or two students and include hands-on instruction, a printed manual, a workbook and products. Topics include Akzentz gel application, Russian manicure technique and waterless pedicure service flow. Every class includes access to the recording inside the studio's online membership and 30 days of follow-up support. The Guava Collective membership offers technique lessons, work critiques, business discussions, resources and mentorship, with live feedback sessions twice a month. Founding membership is limited to the first 15 members and is priced at $49 per month, a rate that stays in place while membership remains active.

The studio frames its work as extending past the appointment, with foot care presented as tailored to each client and rooted in prevention.
