Groundfloor Salon

Groundfloor Salon is a collective of independent stylists working under one roof. The salon says its aim is to offer the feel and quality of a big city hair salon, and it places weight on good customer service.

The salon sits in Denver's RiNo Arts District, within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, breweries and other venues in the area. It is also reasonably close to downtown Denver, Capitol Hill and City Park, with easy access to several highways.

The space has indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of natural light and a warm interior. Clients can choose from a selection of beverages. Free street parking is available on surrounding streets, and reserved spots across the street are set aside for visiting clients.

Because each stylist sets their own prices and books their own appointments, clients book directly with the stylist they want. The salon serves a varied clientele and its stylists offer a variety of specialties.

The salon rents booths to independent professional stylists who operate their own businesses. Each renter receives a personal key and can enter at any hour, every day of the week. Rent covers free use of the back bar and towel service, which supplies shampoos, conditioners, treatments and masks for client services. Agreements are straightforward and carry no minimum term. For an extra monthly fee, renters can reserve a parking space across the street. Renters are expected to keep their station tidy, pitch in with daily chores, and take care when opening and closing the salon. The salon prefers stylists who already have a client base. Weekly rent figures and booth availability are available by emailing the salon.

Groundfloor works as a collective in which each stylist runs their own services, prices and bookings.
