green. began as a multi-chair salon that Patti Green owned in Portland. She has since moved to working solo from a detached studio, also in Portland, where she has been based since moving to the city in 2002.

The studio now has a Spokane location as well. Patti moved there to be nearer family and works at Suite 105 inside Tryst Hair Company, in the Schade Towers building in the University District. Spokane appointments are booked through the schedule button on the site, while Portland appointments are requested by text, phone call or email.

Each visit begins with a consultation about what the client wants, followed by a custom service plan and guidance on recreating the style at home. Products are chosen for performance and environmental impact, and the studio carries Davines, an Italian, family-owned haircare company.

Pricing is listed by service and time. Haircuts run from $50 for 30 minutes to $125 for 75 minutes, and a 15-minute trim for existing clients is $25. Balayage maintenance is $250 and a blowout without a cut is $90. The site asks clients to contact Patti directly for the most accurate pricing. Both locations are non-tipping, with gratuity included in listed prices, and retail products bought directly from Patti are 20% off.
