Green Spa On The Go

Marianella Aguirre founded the business in 2008, offering spa services in clients' homes in Manhattan. It has since grown from one-on-one visits into group, corporate, school, healthcare, nonprofit and community programs.

Mobile service is the core of the business. Professionals travel to homes, hotels, offices, production locations and approved event venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx, and further out to Long Island, the Hamptons, Westchester and upstate New York, where travel fees and minimum bookings may apply. Two professionals can work side by side on a massage, manicure or facial during the same visit.

The Forest Hills studio is open by appointment only, booked online. Metal tools are disinfected between clients, and files, buffers and foot file pads are single-use. Street parking is available nearby, and the studio has an air purifier.

Group and organizational work is planned around each client. For corporate and event bookings, the company sends a custom proposal, usually within one or two business days of the first call, and a deposit holds the date. Spa parties follow a similar proposal process, and guests with allergies or sensitivities can be noted in advance so products and services can be planned. Services not on the menu can be requested, and the company will try to source them or build a customized experience.

Product choices follow an eco-conscious, non-toxic philosophy, with toxin-free polishes and non-toxic products used across manicures, pedicures and facials.
