GorJess Skin & Wax Studio

GorJess Skin & Wax Studio is a private esthetician studio run by Jessica Mignone in Studio 120 at Sola Salon Studios on Park Road in Charlotte. Appointments are required, as walk-ins are not guaranteed, though same-day openings may occasionally be available. The studio is open Monday through Wednesday from 8 AM to 8 PM and Thursday and Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with hours that are by appointment and may vary. It is closed on weekends.

Facials are built around each client's skin type and concerns. Every facial includes cleansing, exfoliation, extractions when needed, a treatment mask chosen for the skin, and hydrating finishing products. Clients arrive with clean skin free of heavy makeup, and Jessica can advise whether to pause any prescription skincare beforehand. The Pumpkin Enzyme Facial is an option for those who want exfoliation, nourishment, and a brightening effect. Gua Sha, a facial massage, and LED light are available as add-ons to 60- and 75-minute facials, with LED offered for eligible appointments. Paraffin wax for the hands or feet can also be added to a facial.

Lash and brow services include lash lifts, which curl and lift natural lashes from the base and typically last six to eight weeks, and tinting. Brow tinting uses semi-permanent dye to deepen natural brow color, while lash tinting adds darker color for a mascara-like look without daily application. Lash and brow services involve no downtime. Waxing removes unwanted hair from the root and can cover the brows, lip, face, neck, back, legs, body, and bikini area. For waxing, hair should be about one-quarter inch long, and clients should avoid shaving for two to three weeks beforehand. Many clients book a facial or waxing every four to six weeks.

Listed prices are: brow tint $25, lash tint $30, brow and lash tint $50, lash lift $85, and lash lift with tint $100. Add-on costs appear during online booking or can be confirmed directly with Jessica, and the salon notes that prices are subject to change. Bookings are made through Vagaro, and an appointment is confirmed either on that platform or when Jessica sends a text confirmation. Guests may text or phone Jessica with questions or for guidance on which service suits them. For a standard appointment, changes or cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice; a change made with less notice may be charged a fee of 50% of the booked service or services.
