GoodNails By Goodheart

GoodNails by Goodheart is run independently by its owner, Samantha, a licensed nail technician. The studio sees only one appointment at a time, so each client has the technician's full attention. Visits are by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted.

The menu covers traditional and gel manicures, kids' services (lacquer only, and the child needs to be able to sit still), and extensions in acrylic, builder gel and hard gel. Fills start at $80 and take an hour or more; they are not done over another provider's work, so a removal and fresh set are needed in that case. Square acrylic full sets start at $90 and suit short to medium lengths, while longer nails are done as sculpted sets, which add length to the natural nail and start at $90 for about 105 minutes or more. Overlays, for nails without added length, also start at $90, with the product chosen in consultation on arrival.

Repairs for acrylic, GelX or hard gel start at $5, and product removal without a manicure starts at $10. A shape change costs $15 and takes about 20 minutes. Depending on the result wanted, it may require a removal and a new set, and consultation is available beforehand.

Booking terms are firm. Future appointments need a 50% deposit before the request is accepted. Changes made within 24 hours of the appointment carry a fee of 35% of the scheduled services; that fee can be waived if the visit is moved within two days and a 35% deposit is applied to the total, though a quick reschedule is not guaranteed. Clients get a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals, and a visit more than 15 minutes late may be cancelled or changed. If it can still go ahead, a $15 late fee is added. A no-call no-show is charged the full service total. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval required before the appointment.

The studio is open Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, Thursday from 5 to 8 PM, Friday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 3 PM, and is closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. Bookings can be made by email at goodheart.nails@gmail.com or by phone at 216-200-8679.
