Good Things Come Hair opened in November 2020 as a private studio founded by Alissandra Hipona. Clients travel from throughout the DMV area, and the work centers on color: balayage, traditional and blonde highlights, all-over color, gray coverage, touch-ups, vivid color and red and copper shades.

Each appointment starts with a consultation about hair color goals, at-home care, maintenance, and what fits a client's schedule, budget and lifestyle. Current clients book through the online portal, while new clients first complete a New Client Request form. Visits are described as unrushed and comfortable, and clients can enjoy refreshments, choose a Spotify playlist, or ask for a silent appointment.

Care between visits is part of the work. Alissandra explains at-home hair and scalp care, recommends color-safe products, and shows styling steps so clients can recreate looks at home. Suggested touch-up timing varies by service: highlight touch-ups every 8 to 12 weeks, vivid color every 3 to 6 weeks, vibrant red every 6 to 10 weeks, and luxury brunette every 6 to 10 weeks. Lived In Balayage typically lasts 6 to 8 months, depending on hair type, maintenance and color intensity.

Pricing combines service-based and hourly rates. Lived In Balayage starts at $350, Traditional Highlights at $395, Gray Coverage and Gray Coverage Touch Up at $195, and Vibrant Red and Copper at $195. Vivid Hair Color is $150 per hour. Luxury Brunette starts at $195 for a single color without highlights, and at $350 or more when pre-lightening is needed. The booking form lists a typical range of $195 to $240 for one all-over color, and $350 to $490 for balayage, highlights or blonding. Color correction, all-over platinum blonde and vivid projects typically start at $500 or more. Tipping is not expected or required.
