Every visit begins with a consultation. New clients must complete a virtual consultation before booking, and it is used to tailor the service and give a price estimate. Before any service starts, a maximum time and cost estimate is given, and if the service runs longer than estimated, the business absorbs the extra time. Final pricing for blonding and color is set after that consultation.
Billing is hourly, and clients are charged only for the minutes they spend in the chair. Haircutting and styling come to $175 an hour, dimensional blonding to $195 an hour, and double process and single process color to $175 an hour each. Tipping is not part of these visits. Each visit includes a K18 Professional treatment, and clients who want something else can ask for other treatments.
Blonding sessions are built around named packages. Mini, partial and full highlight sessions each include a K18 treatment, a Redken Acidic Bonding treatment, a toning gloss and a style, with the highlight type matched to the session length. Root retouches, root retouch with refresh, gloss, tone and shine, and transformational color sessions cover single process work, while double process retouches cover longer regrowth. Transformational services are booked only after a consultation.
The salon keeps its temperature at 77°F so color processes at the manufacturer's recommended temperature. It also prioritizes keeping hair healthy during lightening, using a slow, low-developer approach that makes appointments longer. Clients are asked to remove jewelry and change into a robe before service, and to wear light, comfortable clothing without high collars or hoodies.
Lightening is done slowly with a low developer to help preserve hair integrity, and appointments are longer as a result.
