Golden Wave Salon rents booth space to independent stylists at its location on N. 76th Street. Each stylist sets their own schedule, booking platform, and prices, and books their own clients, so there is no salon-wide booking system. Pricing is published on each stylist's own website or booking link. The salon describes itself as welcoming and inclusive to guests and stylists alike.

Renters get a dedicated station with 24/7 access, with no shared chairs or split schedules. Each space includes a color cabinet and retail shelf space, and renters have use of a break room with lockers. Towels and capes are laundered in house. Renters also receive yearly professional photo shoots for branding, with download access. Guests can expect refreshments, Wi-Fi, and parking.

Booth rent is set on a flexible yearly lease. First-time renters can choose a three-month ramp-up lease, where rent climbs to the full amount by month four. The salon describes its ramp-up program as the only one of its kind in Milwaukee, and says its marketing brings in many new guests each month. Part-time booth rentals are not offered.
