Golden Gate Centre is a strip mall in Waukesha that is set up as a home for independent beauty professionals. Rather than running a shared floor of chairs, the building rents out private salon suites, so each professional works from a space of their own.
Professionals who prefer their own private suite to renting a chair can take on a suite rental. The centre also offers office or retail space for lease, so the building hosts more than beauty work.
Customers visiting the centre can park for free during business hours. For longer or other arrangements, the centre sells a 24-hour permit and a 1-week permit, both taking effect as soon as payment is made. A permit covers one stall on the property. Oversized trailers and semi trucks are not allowed to park there, and the centre says it is not responsible for vehicle damage or loss of personal property.
