Glowy Skin Studio is a skin care studio on West Broad Street in Falls Church. Alyssa, the studio owner and a Master Esthetician, works with fellow Master Estheticians Ashley and Sara. Clients come from across Northern Virginia and the DMV area, and the team advertises Spanish-language service.

Visits start before the appointment. Intake forms arrive by email and text, and the esthetician checks the skin before any treatment. Clients are asked to bring their home products or a list of them. In the five to seven days before a treatment, they should stop AHAs, BHAs, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide and other exfoliants, and avoid facial waxing. After botox or filler, the studio asks for at least two weeks before facial treatments.

The menu runs from The Classic Facial, designed for people new to facials, to The Dermaplane Facial and add-ons such as lymphatic drainage, dermaplaning and a CryoPeptide mask. The HydraFacial lines are performed by Master Estheticians using Vortex-Fusion technology to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate. The studio says HydraFacial can address congestion, texture, acne, fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation.

Glacial Skin uses CryoAesthetics, a cold therapy the studio describes as meant to reduce redness and inflammation and brighten skin. The Glacial Gloss pairs cryomodulation with active ingredients, and the HydraGlacial combines a HydraFacial with a Glacial Skin treatment. The studio says the HydraGlacial is available only at Glowy Skin Studio. The Green Sea Peel uses naturally derived spicules for a liquid microneedling effect and is recommended as a series of three, which the studio notes saves $75 when bought as a package. The Chemical Peel is tailored to current skin state and goals, with treatment and downtime guided by the esthetician.

Acne Bootcamp is a program of about three to six months built around bi-weekly treatments, lifestyle changes and a customized home care routine. The first visit includes a consultation, skin analysis, a product test, a first acne treatment and a free Acne Success Kit. Home care is priced separately at between $150 and $200. Clients are asked to use only the products their esthetician recommends during the program. The studio reports a success rate above 90 percent across acne types and says most clients who follow the routine get clear in as little as three to four months.

Glowy Skin Club offers a monthly membership and a monthly facial membership, which includes one Glowy Skin Signature Facial each month. Membership is available Monday through Thursday and includes weekday priority booking. Members receive 10 percent off retail, 20 percent off add-ons and up to $50 off upgrades. The studio is open Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 6pm, and is closed Sunday.
