GlowedByMari is a private waxing studio in a suite on Cornerstone Village Drive in Houston.

The studio is open Tuesday from 8 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday from 8 AM to 6 PM, Thursday from 8 AM to 2 PM, Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM. It is closed on Mondays and Sundays. Booking is done online through a Glossgenius page.

The menu covers the front intimate area in several levels, from a bikini line shaping to a full Brazilian, with separate pricing for new and returning clients. A Brazilian removes hair from the whole front area, including the bikini line, pubic mound, labia and the strip between the buttocks. Brazilian waxes are offered for female anatomy only. Thursday Brazilian appointments are reserved for returning clients and are offered during the Thursday morning and early afternoon hours.

Beyond the bikini area, the studio waxes underarms, stomach, arms, back, face and legs, with options such as a full or half arm, a full or half back, and upper or lower half legs. Two add-on vajacial treatments can be paired with a Brazilian wax: one aimed at breakouts, blemishes and ingrown hair, and one for soothing redness and irritation after waxing. A hydrogel mask and temporary body jewels for the bikini area are also available as add-ons.

Deposits are taken for many services, with $15 for first-time Brazilian and bikini clients, $10 for returning Brazilian clients and certain vajacial treatments, and $15 for a full leg wax. Clients should give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations, reschedules within 24 hours and no-shows are charged 50% of the service total, and arriving more than 7 minutes late results in automatic cancellation.
