Glow Spa & Salon has operated in Salisbury since 2003. The salon describes its services as meant to address the mind, body and spirit, and its menu covers skin treatments, hair removal, lash and brow work, makeup, massage, nails and pedicures.

Facials make up the largest part of the menu, ranging from a $60 exfoliation using lactic or glycolic acid to a $350 microneedling session, also called collagen induction therapy, which is offered for fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation, scars and skin texture. The Original Glow facial at $120 includes custom cleansing, exfoliation, extraction when needed, a massage of the face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and feet, warm mitts and booties, and a Bioelements mask. According to the salon, the Ultimate Glow-Advanced Facial with two add-ons is its favorite facial; its advanced protocol is customized to each client's skin. The Truth Treatment Facial, at $149, is described as the newest facial and combines dermaplaning, a face, neck and shoulder massage, a finishing mask, vitamin C infusion, retinol renewal and hydration, using Truth Treatment Systems products.

Hair services are offered by stylists who work independently as booth renters and are booked directly with them. Because they are booth renters, gift cards cannot be redeemed for hair care services.

Clients can book online at any time, and requests are confirmed by email once received. A credit card is required to reserve an appointment, whether booked online or by phone. Changes and cancellations must be made by phone at least 24 hours ahead, while spa packages and appointments of two hours or more need 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations are charged 50% of the scheduled services, and missed appointments are charged the full service fee to the card on file. Gratuities cannot be put on a credit card or gift card.

Appointments are scheduled with extra turnover and cleanup time, so a 60-minute massage blocks 90 minutes. Business hours are by appointment: Monday 1 to 8, Tuesday 9 to 5, Wednesday 2 to 8, Thursday 10 to 8, Friday 9 to 4 and Saturday 9 to 3. Gift cards can be bought online and emailed to the recipient or to the buyer to print. Questions and booking help are handled at 978-388-4224, and callers are asked to leave a detailed voicemail and will be called back.
