Glow Lash and Beauty offers lash extensions, lash lifts, brow waxing and brow tinting, and spray tanning from its La Plata location. Lash work is the core of the business, with full sets, fills and a mini-fill option for existing clients.

A first visit begins with a full set, the initial lash extension application, which is also the starting point for anyone restarting lashes. Full sets come in classic, hybrid, volume or mega volume styles. New clients should arrive 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Clients lie down for lash services and should arrive with makeup-free eyes and lashes, and it helps to skip caffeinated drinks beforehand.

Between full sets, clients return for fills, which replace extensions that have grown out or fallen off. A fill needs 30% to 40% of the existing extensions to still be intact. If fewer than 30% remain, a full set is needed instead. Mini fills, about two weeks after a full set or fill, are reserved for existing lash clients, and only one mini fill is allowed between regular fills.

Lash extensions are made from synthetic mink and silk lashes and bonded with a latex-free, formaldehyde-free adhesive. A sensitive glue and a regular glue are both available. The business offers a free patch test using its adhesive, tint and perm solutions. Extensions usually last about three to four weeks, depending on aftercare, skin type and other factors.

Spray tanning is customized to the shade the client wants. A Rapid Spray Tan is a quicker option for clients who need to be ready within hours. Dissatisfied lash clients are invited back for a complimentary correction or removal.
